Welcome to Learnova, an advanced skill development, project-based learning, and career-placement ecosystem developed, owned, and operated by NMD Pvt Ltd (“Learnova”, “Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).
This Privacy Policy applies to all individuals who download, install, access, or use the Learnova Android Application (Application Package ID: com.learnova.nmd), our official website (https://learnova.in), and all associated educational APIs, student portals, and services (collectively, the “Services”).
By creating an account, browsing our course catalog, enrolling in programs, or installing the Android app on your mobile device, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the practices outlined in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any terms of this policy, please do not use our application or services.
Information We Collect
We only collect data that is strictly necessary to deliver high-quality video learning, verify coursework completions, administer assessments, award verified certifications, and assist with job placement drives.
A. Personal Information You Directly Provide
- Account Credentials: Full name, verified email address, mobile phone number, and password/authentication token.
- Student Profile: Educational qualification, college/university name, graduation year, specialization, city, and optional avatar/profile picture.
- Career & Placement Data: Uploaded resume/CV, LinkedIn profile link, GitHub portfolio URL, work experience, and job preferences (when applying for placement drives).
- Support Inquiries: Any messages, feedback, ticket attachments, or queries sent to our support desk or mentors.
B. Learning Activity & Educational Records
- Course Engagement: Video watch progress, timestamps, module completion percentages, notes taken, and bookmarking activity.
- Assessments & Quizzes: Quiz answers, code submission reviews, score histories, project evaluation marks, and leaderboard standings.
- Certification Records: Certificate serial IDs, issuance dates, verification hashes, and course specialization credentials.
C. Technical & Diagnostic Information (Collected Automatically)
- Device Specifications: Device model, manufacturer, Android OS version, screen resolution, and system language.
- Network & Connection: IP address, mobile carrier / ISP, network connection type (Wi-Fi or Cellular).
- Crash Logs & Performance: Application crash stacks, ANR (Application Not Responding) diagnostics, and frame rate metrics collected via Firebase Crashlytics to resolve software bugs.
D. Payment & Billing Information (100% Encrypted via Third Parties)
When you purchase a course or subscription, payment is processed directly by RBI-licensed payment aggregators (e.g., Razorpay / Cashfree). Learnova does not store or process your debit/credit card numbers, CVVs, expiry dates, or UPI PINs. We only receive a transaction reference ID, payment timestamp, and confirmation status to activate your course access.
Android App Permissions (com.learnova.nmd)
In adherence to Google Play Store requirements, the Learnova Android App only requests permissions that are indispensable for core educational functionalities. We do not access sensitive permissions such as precise background location, contacts, call logs, SMS, or microphone without context.

With your explicit opt-in, share your resume, project portfolio, and assessment scores with partner MNC hiring managers and startups.
Detect unauthorized concurrent logins, prevent content piracy, prevent unauthorized screen scraping, and maintain academic integrity.
Third-Party SDKs & Data Sharing Disclosures
Under the Google Play Developer Policy, we disclose all third-party SDKs integrated into the mobile app and their data handling policies. We do not sell user data to any external parties.

Secure authentication, database hosting (Firestore), push notification dispatch (FCM), and crash diagnostic reports (Crashlytics).

Account & Data Deletion Policy
Google Play Store requires all apps allowing account creation to offer users a readily accessible method to request deletion of their account and associated data, both within the app and via a public web page. Learnova fully respects and honors this policy.
Option 1: In-App Deletion (Instant)
- Open the Learnova App on your Android phone.
- Log in to your account if not already signed in.
- Tap the Profile tab in the bottom navigation bar.
- Go to Settings > Account Security.
- Tap “Delete My Account & Data”.
- Confirm your password/OTP to verify your ownership. Your account and active sessions will be terminated immediately.

Children’s Privacy (COPPA & Indian DPDP Compliance)
Learnova is a professional, higher-education, and vocational job-placement platform designed for students aged 13 years and older (primarily college students, fresh graduates, and career switchers).
We do not intentionally or knowingly solicit or collect personal identifiable information from children under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and discover that your child under 13 has provided personal details to Learnova without your consent, please contact us at support@learnova.in, and we will expeditiously remove such data from our databases.
